Terms and Conditions
These terms set out the basis on which The Spanish Academy provides individual online Spanish lessons and Academy Membership.
Policy document to be finalised
The summary below reflects the notice periods and arrangements described elsewhere on this website. The full policy wording will be published here.
Academy Membership
All students join The Spanish Academy as Academy Members, following a programme of individual one-to-one online lessons with a regular weekly lesson reserved especially for them.
Academy Membership includes four individual lessons per four-week teaching cycle and complimentary access to one weekly Conversation Club.
Introductory Period
Every new student begins with a three-week introductory period before becoming an Academy Member. There is no long-term commitment during this period.
Fees and Payment
Academy Membership fees are £96 (30 minutes), £136 (45 minutes) or £184 (60 minutes) per four-week teaching cycle.
Fees are payable in advance at the beginning of each four-week teaching cycle, by bank transfer only. Payment details are provided when you join the Academy.
Lessons
All lessons are taught live online. Students require a computer, laptop or tablet, a reliable internet connection and a microphone and speakers or headphones.
Attendance, cancellations and rescheduling are governed by our Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy.
Examinations
The Spanish Academy provides tuition and general guidance only. Examination entries for GCSE, A-Level and DELE are made directly through approved examination centres and remain the responsibility of the student or family.
We do not provide legal or immigration advice in relation to relocation to Spain.
