At The Spanish Academy, we believe that learning a language is most successful when it is personalised, consistent and enjoyable.
For this reason, all of our students join as Academy Members, following a programme of individual one-to-one online lessons, with a regular weekly lesson reserved especially for them.
Unlike many language schools, our teaching is centred around personalised individual tuition. Every lesson is carefully planned and adapted to the student’s age, level, learning style and personal goals, allowing each learner to progress at their own pace with the full attention of their teacher.
As an additional benefit of Academy Membership, all students are invited to join one of our weekly Conversation Clubs, providing extra opportunities to practise speaking Spanish in a relaxed, enjoyable and supportive environment.

All fees are billed per four-week teaching cycle, not by calendar month. Payment is by bank transfer only, in advance of each cycle.

Three-Week Introductory Period
We understand that choosing the right teacher is an important decision. Before becoming an Academy Member, every new student begins with a three-week introductory period.
This gives both the student and the teacher the opportunity to get to know each other, discuss learning goals and experience our personalised teaching approach over several lessons.
During this introductory period, there is no long-term commitment. Students may stop lessons at any time by giving at least 48 hours’ written notice before their next scheduled lesson. They will simply be invoiced for the lessons that have taken place or were booked in accordance with our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
At the end of the introductory period, students who wish to continue become Academy Members and join our regular four-week teaching cycle.

Complimentary small-group sessions that complement your individual lessons.
Weekly Conversation Clubs
One of the unique benefits of joining The Spanish Academy is complimentary access to our weekly Conversation Clubs.
These optional small-group sessions are designed to complement your individual lessons, not replace them.
While your personalised one-to-one lesson remains the foundation of your learning programme, the Conversation Club provides an additional opportunity to communicate with other learners in Spanish, helping you build confidence and fluency in a friendly and supportive environment.
We currently offer:
- Children’s Conversation Club.
- Teenagers’ Conversation Club.
- Adults’ Conversation Club.
Our Conversation Clubs help students to:
- Build confidence speaking Spanish.
- Improve fluency and pronunciation.
- Strengthen listening skills.
- Develop natural communication.
- Learn collaboratively with other students.
- Enjoy using Spanish in real-life situations.
These sessions reflect our teaching philosophy that languages are learned through meaningful communication and regular practice.
Your Weekly Lesson
As part of your Academy Membership, you will be allocated a regular weekly lesson time. Having a consistent lesson each week helps students establish a routine, build confidence and make steady progress.
We also understand that family life, work and other commitments sometimes make it difficult to attend a regular lesson. If you are unable to attend your usual lesson, you will be able to rearrange it to another available lesson time, subject to availability and our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
Our aim is to provide both consistency and flexibility, allowing students to benefit from a regular learning routine while accommodating occasional changes whenever possible.

Billing
Academy Membership is billed in four-week teaching cycles, rather than by calendar month. Each invoice covers four consecutive teaching weeks, with one individual lesson scheduled each teaching week.
At the end of each academic term, if fewer than four teaching weeks remain in the Academy calendar, families are invoiced only for the remaining teaching weeks.
Your regular lesson time is reserved exclusively for you throughout each teaching cycle, ensuring continuity and allowing us to provide every student with a dedicated place in our timetable.
Once Academy Membership has begun, we ask members to provide eight weeks’ written notice should they wish to leave the Academy.
Payment
Academy Membership fees are payable in advance at the beginning of each four-week teaching cycle.
Payments are made by bank transfer only.
Payment details will be provided when you join The Spanish Academy.
